Hi, I am a software engineer. I applied to hundreds of companies during my job hunting process. and through my experience, the best way to get a call from a company is through referrals. I get referrals from almost all the companies that I applied to through LinkedIn.

After building a great resume, now it’s time to ask for a referral.
Search employees of that company on LinkedIn. Send them a connection request. once they will accept your request. write a good message to them.
In that message mention your skill, your achievements and show your interest in that job. ask them very politely for a referral.
I used to ask for a referral in this way.
( Protip: Before applying Online, ask for a referral first, because in some companies You can’t get a referral if you have already applied online.)
