Things need to take care of while Searching a Job

Hi, I am a software engineer. I completed my B.Tech in Aug 2020. When I was on the journey of getting a software engineer job, I mostly took care of a few things and that helped me to grab a great job. Today I am sharing those things with you. Hope this Blog helps you to get your dream job.

• You should have a LinkedIn account if you are trying for an off-campus placement. I personally got 2–3 job interview offer from recruiters of companies like Amazon, Google, Goldman Sachs via LinkedIn.
• There are so many advantages to using LinkedIn, you can increase your network with people from your job field and many more. I have written a blog on the proper usage of LinkedIn. If you are willing to know then please go ahead and read that informative blog.

Job Openings

• If you are searching for a job, you need to keep your eye on relevant job openings, because the key thing in this job game is to apply as early as possible which increases the chance of getting an interview call immensely. So, make sure to put a notification on every job recruiting site.
• Try to apply for more and more jobs and make sure that you are using the most effective technique to apply for a job and that effective technique is to apply through referrals.

Prepare yourself

• Keep in mind while you are preparing, that you are learning skills that are on-demand in most of the job requirements and prepare yourself the best you can.
• For example: if you are searching for a software engineer job, then learn those skills which are demand in most software engineer Jobs.
